I have invested a great deal of time the last few weeks mulling over my marketing and service offerings for 2009, as well as my resources and pricing. I am expanding my resources to include new Goodwill Guy team members and strategic alliances with some industry venders I feel can benefit most limousine companies. On the pricing side, I have reduced the cost of most of my programs. I truly wrestled with the pricing issue. I had a sharp increase in business during 2008 and I didn’t want to harm the value of my service. Ultimately, I wanted to make myself more affordable for limousine business owners during a period of time when they have the least to spend and need help the most. I’ll have more customers, make less per customer and my kids will eat anyway. Let’s just get through this recession, together. Call it a goodwill investment and pass it on!

Acquisition Search

The acquisition search is done in three phases. During Phase I a search is conducted in the target area to find companies who will sell and collect some initial information from them. Phase II brings price and deal structure negotiations with the seller. In Phase III we outline the primary elements of the deal, send it to the attorneys, and conduct due diligence then proceed to closing if all the ducks are in a row. The cost for an acquisition search is $750 per Phase, a $500 per phase reduction over 2008 pricing. 

Coaching

Many times limousine businesspeople just need a second opinion or a little guidance. A single coaching conference can make all the difference in the world. Conferences generally last one to two hours and cover all issues that are important to the client. Coaching sessions can be scheduled on an as needed basis, or at regular intervals as desired. The cost for coaching is $100 per conference, a $150 per conference reduction over 2008 pricing.

Software Utilization and Site Efficiency Evaluations

Software utilization has been a primary factor in every site evaluation I did in the early days as a consultant. I have combined the elements of these two formerly separate services designed for larger companies. Efficiency in your place of business is the number one key to profitability for the 10+ car transportation company. It matters not how long you’ve been in business. I can and will find room for improvement. The cost for this service is $1500, regardless of the size of your business; a substantial reduction over 2008 pricing which could reach $5000 for larger companies. 

Livery Excellence Groups Online

Membership in a Livery Excellence Group Online is the most cost-effective resource available for small and large transportation businesses alike. I have decided to make this activity affordable for companies of all sizes by moderating these groups literally for cost. This is my public service donation to the industry for 2009.
